The Futures Forum at the SIDS4 brings futures thinking and foresight through its “SIDS Futures Forum”, a think tank : A Living Innovation Futures lab, aimed to support implementation of Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS) 2024-2034, A Renewed Declaration for Resilient Prosperity- an intergovernmental negotiated and politically adopted macro-strategy.

SIDS Futures forum Initiative is : A Living Innovation Futures lab
Futures Framing : Underscores that SIDS continue to be a special case both for their environment and development, which underpins their sustainable development progress within the UN systems; and proposes application of strategic foresight and systems thinking literacy in revitalizing their Economies for accelerated and sustainable growth: As agreed in the Antigua and Barbuda Accord for SIDS (ABAS) 2024–2034.
Futures Pulsing: To support equitable and inclusive economic futures that is integrated with the SIDS ecological systems, by engaging in SMART design thinking and forging collaboration and partnerships among engineers, practitioners, industries, the island workforce, private sectors & policymakers in re-imagining and re-vitalizing their blue and green economies.
Futures Literacy & Strategic Foresight: Boost foresight capabilities of decision makers and local actors in emerging green and blue economic sectors alongside their just digitization transformation.
